The Fort Worth Stockyards
The Fort Worth Stockyards is a historic district that is located north of the central business district. The Stockyards celebrates Fort Worth’s long tradition as a part of the cattle industry and was listed on the National Register as a historical district in 1976. The Fort Worth Stockyards are the last standing stockyards in the United States and is home to many shopping attractions, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
A must see! So many great things to see and do for free – a reasonable price! The rodeo on Saturday night was great fun, watching the cattle drive was a unique experience, and enjoying the company of the people around the area was magical! Great places to eat and drink, and plenty for anyone and everyone to check out! Oh…and loads of shopping too!
